Readme for JR_DISK 1.0 for Windows

Short Overview:
JR_DISK 1.0 for Windows is a program in 2 parts and very useful for monitoring drives (HD and Network) and resources. It runs under Win 3.1 and Win NT ! 
JR_DISK.EXE gives you the most important values of your system and the choice for monitoring 6 different drives (with popup-warning-screen).
With the second programm JR_DICON.EXE you can monitoring a drive and the System-Resources in an icon. 
You give the limit of the minimum drive space and JR_DICON will warn you if the space come below the limit. 
And: if your system donīt have enough resources JR_DICON will warn you, too.
And you can find all info in the ICON (resources, free memory, free drive-space , min. drive-space and a clock) ! You can see all info or only one - you have the choice.
Both programs are working fine in a network or standalone.
Also include: an excellent Help (660k !) with info about "How works the True-Color-graphic ?", "What is the Extended Mode ?" and, and and...



How to install:

0. Start SETUP.EXE and you will have no more work... OR:
1. Copy all files in a SUB-directory (it works only in a sub-dir !)
2. Install the Icon for JR_DISK.EXE and JR_DICON.EXE with your Program-Manager
3. The first start of JR_DICON will give you a screen with the actual parameters. You will see the default parameter.
3.1. Press the middle button and you will get the help screen. You will see all parameter. Make your choice.

All informations are on your fingertips. So press F1 if you will get help.

If you have problems to start the program (e.g. "Require newer version of...") take a look in the Microsoft Basic Libraries and download the newest version of VBRUN300 and GRID.
